Dwane, this *is* interesting -- your restaurant locations indicate that you live not that far from me. Nancy just posted a link to your blog. I am an AOL grad, Class of '65, & I always read emails from Nancy. She & I both went to St. Bernard's for grade school. I haven't read any of your other blog entries yet, but I believe I glimpsed that you served in the Navy; we have a Coastie son. He is only a LTjg so far, but he seems to be planning on a career of it. Of course, he was not drafted, just found a way to get a "free" education, and see the world (so far, South Pacific, and Eastern Pacific, now stationed in Maine).
If you would be interested in meeting up, give me an email with suggestion. I don't think we ever crossed paths at all during high school, but just being from Peoria is amazing in these parts. (My husband is from Brooklyn!)
Regardless, glad Margie found you. Congratulations on the accomplishment of creating a blog. That's impressive.
